Currently the only two agency in the greater Sacramento that maintain in car video cameras are The Sacramento Police Department and Roseville PD in Placer County.  If you have a case involving either of these two agencies be sure to request copies of your video tape.  These type of recordings can sometimes be the best way to overcome an officer’s opinion of failed field sobriety tests and observations of alleged impairment.

The videos camera is tied to the emergency lights and are set to begin recording when the emergency lights are turned on.
