In Napa County Kaiser Permanente surgeon was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after a crash that injuring 5 people, including him.
The CHP reported that early Sunday morning a head on crash occured on Hwy 221 when Doctor Michael Meehan, 61, of Napa, and a surgeon at Kaiser Vallejo, was reportedly driving on the wrong side of the road.
“He was driving on the wrong side of the road and caused a crash,” CHP Officer Randall Wayne said.
An unnamed Kaiser employee said Meehan broke both his legs in the crash.
The driver and passengers of the other car were all from Vallejo. The victims were taken to Napa’s Queen of the Valley Hospital for moderate to major injuries.
